Record low unemployment numbers seem to indicate that even in Colorado things are looking up in the employment space.
This is of little comfort to those in Job Transition periods, that we understand. If you need someone to talk to, strategize with, and are transition time please contact us either by phone numbers available here or at one of our weekly social networking opportunities on the calendar.
Unfortunately I will be out of town for St. Patricks Day happy hour, so please contact Vince regarding this weeks events.

For a good Blast from the Past and into the Future you might dust off a copy of the Alvin Toffler series "Future Shock", "The Third Wave" and particularly timely now is "Powershift"
This series was on the money in the 70's, 80's and 90's, and the waves are crashing globally in the 2000's. Highly topical when you look at individual news bites, such as Federal Reserve inability to satisfactorily "control" the economy the way they did Back In The Day of the Smokestack economy crest (50's,60's). The Powershift is afoot...
There was a very good seminar in Greenwood Village this week, hosted by the A A I I. The topic was Absolute Return Investment Strategies. The CEO of Capital Investment Management in Denver was the speaker and he gave compellign reasons to review your wealth management strategy.
My buy and ignore methods have cost me dearly due it would seem to conventional Buy, Hold and watch your investments grow at blistering one or two point pace over the 17 year cycles methods of the Mutual Fund Community.

The Promise Keepers conference of last week end in Denver was excellent as promised. The NewsBoys band opened the conference on Friday night. Conservative Comedian Brad Stine performed Friday and Saturday. Brad's "Tolerate This!" DVD program will keep you laughing, and inspired to think about the state of our culture. Brad Stine material is available from his web site, and is recommended.
For those who do not know about the Promise Keepers organization or think it is a group of kooks, PK is a non-denominational mens organization comitted to improving our culture starting in our own homes. In my experience it is not radical, except from the perspective of those that would denegrate Christian values anyway.
The Seven Promises are:
1.Personal Worship: through prayer and obedience to God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit. [be a Christian.]
2.Relationships: pursuing vital relationships with a few other men, understanding that he needs brothers to help him keep his promises. [peer accountability and support improves success rate, and eases the journey.]
3. Integrity:practicing spiritual, moral, ethical, and sexual purity.
4.Family:committed to building strong marriages and families through love, protection and biblical values. [Church begins at home, in thought word and deed. Cherish the gift and responsibility.]
5.Church:committed to supporting the mission of his church by honoring and praying for his pastor, and by actively giving his time and resources. [PK is not a church replacement-It is an opportunity to inspire and refresh the spirit with thousands of like minded (Christian) people.]
6.Christian UNITY:committed to reaching beyond any racial and denominational barriers to demonstrate the power of biblical unity. [keep NO ONE from your table-we are all of the one Christian body]
7.Disicpleship:committed to influencing his world, being obedient to the Great Commandment (see Mark 12:30-31) and the Great Commission (see Matthew 28:19-20).[as are all Christians called in their faith.]
If you were not invited to the Awakening conference, please accept my invitation to Unleashed. The Unleashed conference will be the third year under new PK management team and will be awesome based on Uprising and Awakening conferences of this past two years.
For the 2nd consecutive year I have been blessed with the ability to attend the Promise Keepers annual mens conference event in Orlando, Florida. The theme for this years event is "The Awakening - An unpredictable adventure" and I am so fired up that I am working on putting together a group for the Denver event in late October.
If you have never attended a Promise Keepers conference you are missing a powerful weekend. If you have not attended in a while, you will be surprised at the quality level of the productions at this point in their evolution. Please read on for more about my Florida Conference story, and I hope to see you at the Pepsi Center October 21-22nd.
