An early morning one-alarm blaze destroyed a small home Tuesday after the homeowner's dog alerted him to the fire.

A local man accused of setting fire to his own residence was arraigned in Rochester Circuit Court Monday morning, where a judge ruled he will not be required to be monitored by GPS while out on bail.
