The snow and wetter weather has allowed the Three Rivers Fire District to continue the work on fuels treatment below the Rim Park subdivision near Lake Billy Chinook Airport.

A fire destroyed a large Culver-area shop-outbuilding Wednesday afternoon, a blaze that challenged firefighters as propane cylinders and acetylene bottles popped in small explosions, authorities said.
