Citizens of Gates County will not be able to cast a vote to either support or oppose the building of a new public library.

The Gates County Historical Society will sponsor a Christmas Candlelight Tour of historic homes, churches and businesses in Gatesville from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.

Gates County officials have been peppered with questions as they move forward with several capital improvement projects in the county.
