I had long wanted to see the FAIRBANKS - Kuskokwim, Alaska's second longest river at 724 miles.

The Yupik word, "Kuskokwim," loosely translated into English, means "a big slow moving thing," which, as we began our canoe trip, I was very happy that it was - slow and safe.
