Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook is closing its 2012 season with a second show by the legendary Elaine Paige tomorrow and two shows with Broadway star Laura Benanti on February 11th.

As part of the second day's itinerary of the small group tour that I was participating in, 'Birds, Natural and Cultural History in Oaxaca, Mexico,' for a few hours in the morning we had been birding above the dam and at the reservoir in Teotitlan del Valle, a popular, well known birdwatching area about a thirty-five minute drive from Oaxaca City.
